Venture Kids Club is a weekly after-school outreach hosted by Venture Church, designed to shine the light of Jesus into the lives of children through fun, meaningful relationships and hands-on activities. We meet Tuesdays from 4:15–5:30 PM during the school year.

Here's an overview of the program in the form of our volunteer handbook.

We need a team of dedicated, encouraging volunteers who are ready to love kids, model Christlike character, and help create a safe, welcoming environment each week.

Volunteer Roles Include:

• Lead Volunteer – keeps the day moving and opens/closes the program
• Table Volunteer – works directly with 3–5 students during snack and activity time
• Snack Volunteer – prepares and distributes snacks
• Check-In Volunteer – welcomes families, checks in students, manages name tags and rewards
• Lesson Volunteer – leads the weekly lesson or theme activity. 

What You Should Know:

• All volunteers 18 and older must complete a background check.
• Volunteers 14+ may serve independently.
• Volunteers in 6th–8th grade must be accompanied by a parent volunteer.
• Kids in 5th grade or below must register as participants, not volunteers.
• We use Planning Center Services to schedule volunteers. You'll receive invites in advance—just respond promptly so we can plan well.
